Stew has been a volunteer and friend since 1985. A multi-talented craftsman who has refined wallpaper to an art, his wife Jenny (1952-2019, see In Memoriam) and their love of peregrines brought us together. Stew’s contributions to our surveys over the years are too numerous to mention. In the field his keen eyes and skill in handling and processing captured falcons have greatly added to our success. His aptitude has elevated him to co-investigator status when our needs and his availability coincided. Talented in home brewing, in the kitchen and on a grill, his creations have given us the strength to endure the rigors of daunting field seasons. We thank him for thousands of hours of service to the peregrine so freely given, and most of all for the gift of his friendship.
